migration series
The technique of alloying involves the molecular bonding of multiple metals to create another type of metal. The technique of inlay involves the technical bonding of multiple metals, where a piece is cut out from one type of metal and inserted into the hollow of another type of metal. The movements of metals involved in these processes inspired the Migration series. I have imagined for the metal pieces to travel along the landscape of the body, moving, displacing, merging and bonding on its way.
